These anti-embolic compression stockings (23-32 mmHg, Class 2 compression) are prescribed by physicians for the treatment and prevention of various venous conditions. They provide therapeutic benefits for:
These medical-grade stockings improve circulation through graduated compression: 100% at the ankle, 70% below the knee, and 40% at the upper thigh. This targeted compression promotes lymphatic drainage, enhancing blood flow to the deep veins, preventing venous stasis and thrombus formation, reducing swelling, and improving tissue nutrition. The stockings feature a comfortable, soft silicone band at the top for superior fit and hold.
Accurate measurements are essential for optimal therapeutic effect and comfort. Measure your legs in the morning before swelling occurs, using the following guidelines:
A detailed size chart (link to size chart - *this would be added here if available*) will assist you in selecting the correct size. Larger sizes are ineffective; smaller sizes cause discomfort.
Wear stockings daily, removing them at night. Put them on in the morning, or after resting for 15 minutes with your legs elevated at a 30-45 degree angle. Turn the stocking inside out to the heel, place your foot in, and gently pull it up without stretching. Use rubber gloves to avoid snags. If your skin is moist, apply talcum powder.
Hand wash in lukewarm water (30°C) with a mild detergent. Do not machine wash, wring, bleach, iron, or dry clean. Air dry flat away from heat.
These stockings are not suitable for individuals with: decompensated cardiopulmonary insufficiency, chronic occlusive arterial disease of the lower extremities with low regional systolic pressure, severe diabetic polyneuropathy and angiopathy, septic phlebitis, acute soft tissue infection, or non-venous etiology trophic ulcers.
